    Thanks vicb...

    1. Clarkson - Bemidji couldn't take advantage of benevolent nurses. Advantage nurses.
    2. Wisconsin - Just happy to come out of the weekend not being gassed.
    3. Minnesota - Pots and Pans and a Schamwow.
    4. UMD - Rooney and company grounded the Eagles
    5. Ohio State - Sauve who?
    6. bc - Good news is that cupcake relief is coming...Maybe MK Ultra can play goalie?
    7. Cornell - Are they going to be bringing a red wave in November?
    8 Colgate - Toothpaste didn't gel.
    9. Penn State - Split squad earned a split proving that sometimes, less can be more.
    10. Northeastern - Could just as well be Mercyhurst but giving HockeyLeast the benefit of the doubt.

    Re: USCHO Poster's Poll: '18-19'

I built a Google Form to automatically calculate all this stuff for the SBNWH Poll. It kind of defeats the purpose if I have you all input it into the form though, since the point here is to see everyone's ranking. Maybe I'll build another one for this and input them that way myself. It saves me a TON of work.

Also I'm just gutted over this weekend so my enthusiasm is in the tank at the moment.

I donít rank teams that donít play, and I certainly wouldnít rank them above their last years finish.

None of us expected BC to get swept, but in hindsight, it may wind up as the best thing that could happen to the Eagles. These seasons where they think that they're untouchable right up until they aren't don't help them or another team. If you lose #11, that is simply bad and I can't spin that any other way.

    Anyway, I feel your pain.

It's true, that's what I'm trying to keep in mind. But wow a 4 game losing streak is real hard to swallow!

    5. UMD
    6. Boston College
    7. UConn
    8. Penn State
    9. Colgate
    10. Bemidji

The top 3 could be in any order. Clarkson did not have an easy time of it against Bemidji. Minny showed their potential in game 2 as did Wisconsin. Penn surprised with a very short bench. Bemidji outshot Clarkson 2 to 1 in both games. BC, not sure what to think but have to believe that they will right the ship soon. UMD is back. OSU picked up where they left off. The others showed well during the first week of play.

I agree with your order but that it is way too early to be certain. I would disagree a little with you on one point. MN beat Mercyhurst as badly as Wisconsin beat Lindenwood so, for the moment, MN gets the edge. This weekend WI will show what they can do against Mercyhurst and MN will have a very interesting challenge against UMD

You can rank them any way you want, but I don't agree that you penalize a team that severely based on two games, especially the first two of the season halfway across the country against a very strong UMD team. I think you also have to consider their potential and likelihood that they'll quickly rebound, based on their talent level and yes, their relatively weak Hockey East schedule where they are likely to rack up a lot of wins. There is no doubt in my mind that BC finishes the year ranked higher than No. 10, and despite their poor start I won't be at all surprised if they end up playing their last game in Hamden, CT., i.e. Top 4. In the meantime it'll be interesting to see if they can bounce back and handle Syracuse this Saturday and then how they fare against a good St. Lawrence team on the 11th and 12th.

Again, how you decide to rank the teams here is totally your call, but these are some other considerations pertaining to BC that you may want to consider.

They will rocket up the charts once they start winning, on my first ranking I was purely basing it on wins and not reputation or expectations, unless they were on equal terms of wins. Plus it's kinda fun to poke T3 once and awhile, ya don't get to do that too often based on facts. I do hope their injured player is ok, I would not wish that on anyone.
