Gotta make cuts somewhere, so that means that our Military Machine needs to be reduced. "But our veterans!" you wail. They will be beneficiaries to improved health care. They will find ways to not need a bottle to solve their problems.

You assume a bit too far. The military is overbought right now. I'm for lean, mean and, well, a ruthless, only as a very last resort, military.

And yes, we've made a mess of our mental health care system. It's biting us hard right now. And unfortunately, too many vets need that portion of big health care.

Scoob, what's your interpretation, does that mean any alcohol in the home is a danger?

I don't know, The Sica seems pretty dense lately, and he is in NoDak.

One solution does not fit all was the point.

Canada classifies DUI as a felony and may ban anyone with a DUI conviction from entering the country for up to 5 years.

Alcoholism is a mental and physical health disorder.

DUI is a symptom, and a societal problem, because of how alcohol affects people. It makes them cocky, stupid, and willing to take risks like trying to operate machinery when they're slow, uncoordinated, and sleepy.

That said, there's a difference between blowing a .08-.10 after you stayed back for one extra beer that one time in college, versus blowing a .20+. The former is most likely a normal drinker who had a bad night and got busted. The latter case, probably has an alcohol problem. This is why we now have "superdrunk" laws in many states.

I thought it was 10? And also, I believe you can enter despite a manslaughter conviction, which is really messed up.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
