The hard part is that they don't look bad, but just are a few inches off on the shots. Seeing Lockwood's shot go off both post was pretty depressing.
Just ran into a hot goalie, to be honest. Lekkas was NUCLEAR tonight.

Rough start to the season. Looks like defense and goaltending need work.

Interesting to see the freshman goalie against Waterloo.

I'm not a fan of having the game that counts first.

Interesting is a good word for not sure what happened. Given how they warmed up against Vermont, the coaches consider Mann > Leavy. But he let in some pretty weak goals last night. I would have expected him to be stronger than that.

I also expected to see Leavy get some ice time- he was ready to go mid-2nd period, but they never gave him a chance.

Either way, seeing Haden and Strauss not exactly have great games does not give me a warm fuzzy about the GAA stat.

Have a question on something I was curious about.
How do you guys acquire team worn jerseys and did they sell your Frozen Four jerseys from last spring?

And, like last time, we are not going to a game, thanks to a UMS conflict. Which we chose since the game isn't a real one. Kinda sucks to celebrate at a non-real game, IMHO.

Yeah. I raised my eyebrows at this one when I heard about it.
Maybe they thought they could sell a few more tickets this way.

Can anyone tell me which NTDP players are likely future Wolverines?

Where's sparty? Every other B1G Conference team was either ranked or at least received votes.

John Beecher (forward) from the U18s and Jacob Truscott (defense) from the U17s are presently committed to UM.

That would be my guess. Exhibition games never seem to be well attended.

Not likely a future Wolverine, but sibling to a current Wolverine, Hughes #43 should be fun to watch.

So other than the celebration, it appears that I missed a lot less than nothing.

Most of my Michigan friends are talking about the football game tomorrow, but I'm excited for this weekend's hockey.

After the performance against the jailbait, does Mann get the start? Will one of our goalies start playing to the level we hope/expect?

Can Michigan get a win that will count? As always, these non-conference games are important come tournament selection time.

All I know of Western this season is they lost to Bowling Green and swept Ferris.

                            I'm thinking split this weekend.

Listening to what Mel is saying, yes, I bet Mann starts. Short leash for Sunday, though.

So I guess we are bad at guessing.

We certainly have some offense. But the D needs a LOT of work.
