Sorry but that's not true. There are many strains of conservatism. Just because a past movement that also had that label has according to some 'died out' doesn't mean the general concept of conservatism isn't in full swing today.

Is fighting equal rights, fighting affirmative action, fighting gay marriage...while supporting abortion and family based censorship not some kind of conservative? Don't fall for conservatives who are just putting on a ploy trying to avoid being tied to any obnoxious, failing conservative politician.
