Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

        That was there last year.

It's the red line not being solid.

They dumped the stage about 7 years ago.

I think that you are correct about the red line. Is that a new rule?

BTW, I am more concerned about our blue line being solid.

I don't recall seeing anything along those lines for the new rules. The current rule (1.4, final paragaph) states:

There shall be a line 12 inches in width and red in color, drawn completely across the rink in center ice, parallel with the goal lines and continuing vertically up the side of the boards, known as the “center line.’’ This line shall contain at regular intervals markings of a uniform distinctive design that shall easily distinguish it from the two blue lines; the outer edges must be continuous and be visible on the ice through any logos or other markings.

Today is 2 August 2018. There are 66 days until RPI's next game and still no roster.

This is based upon 7 October 2018 for the start of next season.

I don't see it going through the logo, though.

I am pretty sure that we have violated that for quite some time and so have others.

This is true. It wasn't going through it last year.

Off-hand I'm pretty sure I've seen Harvard and Brown violate that rule at various points in time by not having the red line cross-over their logo. It's not a big deal. Icing at the red line is called so much more loosely than off-sides (if the follow-through was across the red line they usually allow it) and when they do make the call it is because an offensive player rushes to avoid getting pinched along the boards. Rarely do you see a player called for icing that is maneuvering through center ice.

Technically, isn't it now red lines?
