        Nor does it appear to be 12 inches in width. But I guess if the rule is going to be loosely enforced, why stop at the line remaining intact across the ice? Perhaps they could install a mechanism where a button could be pushed and the line could be raised a smidgen off the ice to impede the opposing players. After all this is an engineering school. Maybe they could make that happen only with the part of the line that isn't there.....

          It's definitely 12 inches, at least from outside line to outside line. Same width as the blue lines. It's just a bit deceiving given the cameras.

                I have used that same line on most women for many years. Only Jenny never fell for it.

                              Considering what the line used to be, perhaps there were some complaints from the red-blue color blind, as there was previously no design difference.
