Because he fired Fridgen after many years?

I checked the online directory for all the non-Seniors from last year's teams. Stout, Manley, Tironese, St. Denis, and Richards have been removed. The two Ohrvalls and Reisinger are still listed. Everyone whom we think will return is still there. I suspect that Reisinger is staying to complete his degree. Perhaps the Ohrvalls were taking summer classes. I doubt that they are staying.

You would think that, but lets take a look at Michigan State, Baylor, Penn State and Ohio State.

When the hockey program starts bringing in money like any of those schools then you can use that argument.

Money is not relevant in my argument. These presidents sacrificed a segment of the student population in an effort to protect abusers in there midst.

Not aware of a single mention of it anywhere until the announcement that a new lacrosse coach was hired. Guess it was just assumed no one would ever notice. Has that consulting firm now been retained to croak people and do they use the "Chuck Cunningham Syndrome" to do it? Guess younger folks are probably doing a search for "Chuck Cunningham Syndrome".

Better than the Colonel, who gave 4 year contract extensions for any season over 500.

No,Not just firing the winningist coach in program history! The soccer and lacrosse coaches also felt the sudden urge to resign soon after his arrivalHe did wind up hiring back the lacrosse coach. I can understand his move from RPI to CC but his name came up in 2013 for a job at western Illinoisalso and now he leaves CC for a job at maine. Just strikes me as odd.

45 days and no roster. And nothing RPI hockey related to talk about.
The AD and head coach have no idea what good public relations is all about.
They have to get out there and give the fans something to look forward to this coming season. Especially with the personnel turnover coming into the season.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Toxic money is a completely separate bear, and I certainly hope you don't think that, because it happened at a couple of institutions, that it creates a direct correlation across all institutions.

The fact of the matter is that men's ice hockey is one of the few cash flow positive entities at RPI. Perhaps that's why the administration took it over in a hostile manner. Is the administration now taking it for granted? Perhaps, given the "lackadaisical efforts" I'd say started when they took over. And given they're pretty much milking any source of money they can, i.e. the epitome of socialism, I wouldn't be surprised if the coffers start to run drier now that parallels can be drawn to today's society and people are becoming more the wise to it.
