        Done with primaries! Woo hoo, especially with the insufferable NY primary finally over. All in all I thought the Dems did pretty well in nominating a mix of people that generally fit the races they're running in.

            6 of the 8 Dems that caucused with the GOP to flip the power in the NY state senate lost in the Dem primaries

                I think the "Michigan hockey fans" rule applies to Cynthia Nixon. Back in 1998 the national championship was in Boston, Michigan vs BC. Went to a victory party with Mich fans after the game and a few of them were telling us "Geesh, these BC fans are bunch of fuking a ssholes!". I immediately thought, if even Michigan fans who pride themselves on being a-holes can't stand to be around you, your fans have some serious problems! Likewise, as an admitted know it all jerk, watching Nixon campaign I thought, "man, she's kinda an annoying high and mighty jerk". She even made Cuomo like a model of decorum during their one debate. If I think somebody is too much of a jerk, that's a problem. Its like Kep saying somebody is too loony left, mookie claiming somebody watches too much Asian porn, or the late great DavidB claiming that the nachos and cheese at the hockey arena don't meet up to his standards for food consumption.

                                If what her brother says has her falling behind, that reflects poorly on North Dakota voters, not Heidi Heitkamp.
