People could shrug that off to themselves as dirty politics. Hanging out with actual Nazis while having total control of the federal government might be a bridge too far. They might boot him and then quickly pick a less open racist in 2020.

Early voting starting to look decent for Dems. Early voting in TX is skewing young and hispanic - as well as from urban Houston and El Paso. Many first timers. Early voting in GA has AAs voting at a higher rate than whites. In AZ, the GOP was beating Dems by 10 point margins. But that lead shrunk to 6 pts and now stands at 2 pts.

Just heard an ad from our lovely Representative Don Young, who actually has to campaign because he’s facing a real challenge this time. Apparently health care for all would cost $32 Trillion and that not everyone pays taxes.

Everyone who has a job pays payroll taxes unless they are working tax free which is technically illegal.

Republicans will use payroll taxes to balance budgets, pay for debt, etc. but they won't count it as "taxes" when talking about helping people. ****ers.

This is from the same man who shook his opponents hand, nearly broke her hand and said this:
"I don't acknowledge her because very frankly, I don't believe she can do the job, and why should I acknowledge somebody who tried to stage something for publicity?" Young said.

Voted early in Edina this week and they said they don’t think anyone is left in Edina to vote next week.

A little too much "hold the steering wheel time" for family and job in the last week so I've been floating XM Patriot, POTUS, and Progress as well as Fox News and CNN on XM.

Strangely enough, on the more conservative bent stations early voting is going well for the Rs and yet on the liberal bent stations the early voting is breaking well for the Ds.

I saw the following statistic but can't verify it. When Early Voting started in 1980 there were 4M early voters. This year there are already over 40M.

That's a national go to line for the GOP. They're using it in state races here in Iowa. I literally saw 3 ads back-to-back-to-back the other day that had that line in there. Oh, and they reference Pelosi, too.

Depending on how they phrase the analysis, both can be true. Early Voting typically has an R slant, so if Early Voting is still skewing R but less so than usual, both sides could phrase the argument and not be contradicting each other.

I'm voting on election day. It's tradition. Taking my daughter with me.

Early voted in my district and it was a stream in and out like the normal election day polling site.

Went home, listened to local news station, and they said the early voting station in Grand Forks, ND, usually gets 200 per day and was clocking 2000 per day.

It's still hilarious to listen to how "objective news organizations" spin to a POV. Flipping between CNN and Fox is a hoot. Literally heard both report on the same polling data within an hour of each other and it was "bad news" for < other side >.

I highly recommend doing the flip from Fox to CNN thing when you drive. Every commercial flip to the other and listen to the spins. It's quite eye-opening.

I'm not saying it is the case but flipping between Fox and objective reality would have the same effect.
