yeah, I'm perfectly ok with it. They ignore the voices of their constituents, either barring from their offices, or staging town hall events where only their party members are allowed to attend, the only voices they do pay attention to are the ones handing them money.

They need to hear the voices of the majority of the people. They need to understand that what they are doing aren't just economic and social exercises in textbooks, that the things they do have real impacts on the lives of real people. They are not king-like chosen ones ruling over the peasantry, they work for us. We pay their salaries. Time they started remembering that. Time for the bubble to start being popped.

If this is what it takes to do so, then so be it. Better than blowing up their limousines with a car bomb.

      Re: student loans

      Reinstate year round Pell Grants
      Make all loans are subsidized
Make all loans follow undergraduate interest rates, and I may even add getting rid of the additional 2% added onto the 10 year T-note that makes up the rate.

Make personal finance a required course in high schools. 17 and 18 year olds do not know what it means when they sign up for a student loan. It's just a number to get them into classes at that age.

In Case anyone was wondering, Ivanka won’t be hit with daddy’s tariffs on imported goods from China. Nothing to see here

          I'm with you on those two < virtual high-five > :

          - The 10-year T number is enough. No surcharge. The House doesn't need that extra vig.
          - Money is a thing we all deal with every day. And it's a thing very few of us have ever had formal training about handling on.

Does restaurateur Z have the right to tell X and/or Y to **** and GTFO? Yup. Thus the 1st does not apply.

Outside on the street? Different story.

Edit: Sierra-Tango-Foxtrox-Uniform got the four-asterisk treatment. Who knew.
Sure the 1st applies. it applies for the protester, and it applies for the owner.

This is a key thing IMO. Kids taking loans that they do not have an appreciation for what they are in for. At current tuition costs of state schools etc it is currently very possible to come out with a degree and not be completely buried by debt.

How the heck can anyone figure out what is and isn't getting hit when you tried to read this legalese-gobbledy-gook.

                  https://ustr.gov/sites/default/files/2018-13248.pdf

Then again, reading Annex B, I'm hoping Ivanka isn't importing "nuclear reactors".

Reading Annex B, it reads like heavy industrial machinery, all flavors. Is that by plan so tDon can claim "national defense". If you can't build milling machines and go to war, you don't have milling machines to build machines of war.

BTW, the kids reunited with their families yet? Any of them?

Can someone show me one kid who's back together with their parents? I mean, the administration knows where they all are, and everything.

No, he can't. cause Donnie said it was a done deal. No need to worry.

Going back on that now makes him look weak. And Donnie can't look weak. His only other option now is war. Get ready to beat the drums. Johnnie Bolton will tell you when.

Inside the restaurant only the owner's ideals matter. The owner is not the government; the 1st is of no consequence.

Why claim done deal? To force the other side to stand up or renege in the spotlight.

At least tDon didn't renege (this time).

Nope. But they've at least found some of the parents.

Here's one, but the government didn't do sh** to reunite them. It was a social worker in NYC and mothers across the nation who car pooled a woman across the country to get her kid.
