You come out with a "meh" understanding but claim "Duckies-and-bunnies! All is well!"
When the other side says "Um, no", you cry "They reneged!" and you claim to be the good guy who negotiated in good faith.
Look at Trump's history. It's one of his base plays.
Once you understand that Trump is a used car lot owner and a used car salesman all his plays make sense. Banks dont lend indiscriminately for anything else EXCEPT student loans. When they do they tend to get burned. (see: 2008 crisis)
Banks dont tend to assume people will pay back their loans, in fact they assume a certain percentage wont in normal circumstances. Not so with school loans. They assume almost no risk (because of lack of bankruptcy) so they just throw out money at will and never worry."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

Originally posted by rufus View Postyeah, I'm perfectly ok with it. They ignore the voices of their constituents, either barring from their offices, or staging town hall events where only their party members are allowed to attend, the only voices they do pay attention to are the ones handing them money.
They need to hear the voices of the majority of the people. They need to understand that what they are doing aren't just economic and social exercises in textbooks, that the things they do have real impacts on the lives of real people. They are not king-like chosen ones ruling over the peasantry, they work for us. We pay their salaries. Time they started remembering that. Time for the bubble to start being popped.
If this is what it takes to do so, then so be it. Better than blowing up their limousines with a car bomb."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

Can someone show me one kid who's back together with their parents? I mean, the administration knows where they all are, and everything.
The articles coming out about the 5 year olds in court is just ridiculous. A 5 year old isnt allowed to decide what parent they want to live with in court but they are supposed to understand the rules of Asylum and other types of immigration under the Geneva Convention? Full grown adults with degrees have issues with it..."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

His name is Johan.
He drank a bottle of milk and played with a purple ball as he waited for the immigration judge, The Associated Press reported.
John W. Richardson, the judge at the Phoenix courthouse, said he was "embarrassed to ask" if the defendant understood the proceedings. "I don't know who you would explain it to, unless you think that a 1-year-old could learn immigration law," he told Johan's attorney.
The boy had been separated from his father, who left the United States for their country of Honduras under the impression that his son would go with him, Johan's lawyer said.Young Johan, at the end of the hearing, was handed a voluntary departure order so that he can be flown to Honduras and into the arms of his family.“Demolish the bridges behind you… then there is no choice but to build again.”
