found it interesting in a report of a federal judge asking why kids and parents were separated w/o a receipt. he commented how when wallets are taken away a prisoner is given a receipt, but not a kid

The missing kids database was started for essentially a similar type question. When they were trying to track a missing kid down, the police said let's check the FBI's stolen car database for the car description of who may have taken the kid. It prompted the parent to ask, "Wait a second, we have a database to track missing cars but not missing kids?"

The missing kid was Adam Walsh, who most know was the impetus for a lot of changes in how missing kid cases are investigated due to his parents advocacy.

Who is more corrupt? The current U.S. administration or the current Israeli administration?

There will also be about 50 doctoral dissertations and a couple Nobel Prize winning books in history. The Rise and Fall of the Turd Reich.

These guys are a textbook example of the growth of a fascistic movement and the toppling of a democratic government, all playing out in slow motion in the Information Age. It would be fascinating if you were a visiting anthropologist from another planet.

The GOP, just because it's far bigger and involves more people and more far lucrative criminal activity.

Likud is small potatoes -- the kind of low level corruption that characterizes, say, daily life in Italy or Spain. Dump and the GOP are getting into Russian oligarch territory.

What's most troubling is that both sides do it. There's just no good option anymore.

In the sense that a field mouse and a New York City subway rat carrying the plague are both "rodents," yes.

You would think most would see it that way, yes.

I believe it was Lewandowski (the one who said *wamp wamp* to the idea of kids being separated from parents in an interview on CNN or w/e) who has connections to the private prison industry that creates those camps.
