Drew has moored his boat in a safe harbor of passive aggressive commitment to Trump policies. That anchor is too deep in the mud for anything to change.

        LOL

I wouldn't have had an issue pulling the lever for Bernie. But, you keep thinking I'm the problem.

This. Exactly this. This is deliberate, it's not a f-cking act of God. This is intentional and all the pain it's causing is not collateral damage -- it's THE WHOLE POINT.

Dumpy wanted optics showing pain to (1) warn brownies do not trespass and (2) force the Dems to the bargaining table to get his dumb wall.

What do you call deliberately inflicting pain again?

Sounds like I hit a nerve. Well, good. Why do I bring this up? Because it keeps happening. Al Gore would have made a competent President. He ran on a pretty progressive platform in terms of the environment for example and guns IIRC. But, apparently because he wasn't going to give JFK like inspirational speeches, Dems decided to sit back and let George W Bush, not so coincidentally a non-inspirational speaker as well, get elected President thus handing total control of the govt to the GOP. That worked well. Why exactly did Dems hate Gore? Beats me.

Fast forward 16 years. Some lessons die hard. Why exactly did Dems hate Clinton? Beats me. But they sat out the election or made a public spectacle of how they were dragged kicking and screaming to the voting booth. Then they wonder why turnout was done. Thus handing total control of the govt over to the GOP. That worked well.

I don't know who Hitler ran against in like 1923 when he first got elected. But, if you knew what he was all about, would you have made a public show of how much you hated the candidate you had to vote for to keep him from office? Seems like that wouldn't be the best approach to take to keep the man from winning, no?

But at least he gets to fondle his gun at night. The cold, hard steel. The slightly pungent fragrance of gun oil. the smoothly rounded curves of the barrel and grip.

Crap, you guys gotta excuse me for a few minutes.

You at least appear to have some rational impulses, and I am well aware you are somewhere at least in the same zip code as liberalism on the Democratic side. I'll make you a deal. Stay off my as-s and I'll stay off yours.

5 months and counting and there's just no time for this crap. We have to drown the rats this fall and bind Piggy up so tight he'll kiss Mueller for giving him an excuse to quit.

She thought it was good for the country to elect Trump so they could learn to love Bernie instead of the fake criminal Hillary who was going to hire Goldman Sachs and be their puppet.

                  Oh, the irony.

Same here. Sanders had won we wouldn't be blasting the guy up until 2 weeks before the election. Considering the alternative I would have voted for the man with a smile on my face and not an ounce of regret over the choice before me. Fuk I would have done the same for O'Malley if he'd won the nomination. When the other side nominates a Nazi, that's not the time to equivocate.
