Well the Penguins could only keep one goalie and it’s pretty obvious why they chose to do it that way.

As for trading for assets, Vegas could’ve bent them over and just taken Murray since Fleury had a NTC. They weren’t gonna let that happen and worst case scenario they buy out Fleury which would’ve had its own consequences, so this was better for everyone involved.

Coburn with the interesting fighting strategy of trying to skate away while also holding onto Wilson.

The most interesting moment this evening may be when Coburn and Wilson meet each other in the postgame handshake line.

Washington is halfway to a very happy night. Good for them. If they win this they will have well deserved it.

They lost their 1st conference final 4-0
Won their 2nd conference final 4-2 then lost the Cup 4-0.
They look like they'll win their 3rd conference final 4-3.

Caps in 6 over Vegas. This town will be insufferable.

For a week. Then people will start fretting about the Redhawks.

I have no problem with the Caps winning tonight #f-ckflorida. But I will be rooting balls out for the Golden Knights.

Should be a fun series. Don't give a hell who wins.

I've been fortunate enough to go to two game 7's now. Neither has gone the way I wanted. Ironically, both shut outs, too. But regardless, nothing better for a sports fan.

I guess I don't really care who wins either. Would be happy for Ovi to get one finally, would be pretty incredible for Vegas to close the year out winning the cup after the tragedy rocked the city to start the season. Like SoH said, should be a fun one.

                                But what assets?

Who was offering a top 5 pick?
