            @rwesthead: Perhaps one reason (among many) why some players wind up with substance abuse problems.

                    That's part of why the whole story with Mike Richards getting caught at the border with opiates (and the Kings voiding his contract over it) was so shady, these teams hand the stuff out like it's candy.
