So what are the odds that Dump starts pulling work visas from Canadian players who don't keep their mouths shut about his administration?
No. Doug Ford won Ontario this evening.

Doubtful. Putie is too subtle to troll like that, and it's doubtful The Trumperor knows much of anything about hockey to begin with.

As a fan of Russian hockey the best part about this is seeing Slava Malamud fall into full-on nuclear meltdown mode. His KHL RIGGED conspiracy theory fell apart twice ("RIGGED FOR SKA" - SKA lose in semis to CSKA - "I SAID CSKA WAS THE ONLY OTHER CHANCE" - CSKA loses final in five games) and the guy he constantly blames (and holds a grudge against) for him losing his credential wins the Cup

That was pretty dang cool to see Ovi, Backstrom, Oshie, Niskanen, et. al win their first Cup.

And for Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull and Rocket Richard, their last..

@NHLhistorygirl: If my math is right, the engravings for 1953-54 through 1964-65 are being hoisted for the last time. A final hurrah for Howe and the Rocket and many others.

The Leafs are on the clock!

That's a great historical context to bring up, joe. A chance to remember and honor past champs too.

Wait a minute... Ovechkin won the CUP???? Seriously thought I'd never see that happen. He was certainly excited. He seemed to scream more than most recent captains. Fun to watch though. I loved how long people were celebrating on the ice long after the buzzer, and then when the family joined they all still stayed out there. Love how hockey celebrates in front of their fans, up close.

We're going to need another Cup. Ovi is keeping this one.
