              For a while during the reporting last night, my home county was all in on Shri. The only one of the 83 counties that was going for him. *facepalm* Seems after all precincts reported that it straightened out, but yet Shri only missed winning my county by 82 votes.

              Disappointed that Abdul didn't do better in the Metro counties, but oh well.

                          Gov: Walz - better chance to beat Pawlenty, down ticket will be much better for winning back state house/senate
                          Senate: Unsure
                          AG: Ellison
                          Everything else: straight DFL

                            Everyone is going to beat Pawlenty...Pawlenty is going to struggle with the yawn worthy Johnson. Even if by some chance he wins he isnt going to split the metro like he did before no matter who he runs against. The Democrats spent 8 years fixing his mess and the metro hasnt forgotten that. (hence why Dayton's numbers are so high)

                            My gut Walz is going to win the nomination though. Strib already endorsed him and seeing as he is a teacher you can expect he will get quite a bit of support from Education Minnesota. He checks a lot of boxes and will give the Dems support from SW that they dont always tend to get.

                            Personally, I wish Franken was running...

                              Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
