There are 26 cities named Aurora in the US. Twitch picked up my snark of "they're all sh**holes?"

The Aurora I know and "love" is the one in CO where that gunman did his Star Wars thing. Or The Dark Knight, I forget.

Anyway, it's a soulless hellhole of middle level managers and code monkeys from defense firms. Just think of Office Space.

Aurora, CO, was also the city for Columbine HS.

Columbine is in Littleton, toward the southwest of metro Denver.

Aurora is far east metro Denver.

Most of these are indeed pretty boring and/or sh*tty. COS, Arlington, and (surprisingly) Omaha are actually a lot better than the stereotype, but still fairly conservative, yes.

Conspicuously missing from the con list - Ft. Worth (they vigorously enforce their vagrancy laws)

Because when I think "best" cities, these 4 are definitely in my Top 10.

Conspicuously missing from the lib list - Chicago, Portland

My brother lives in Oakland. It's f-cking paradise. But, you know, blacks, so middle America says "ew! A-scurred!"

Buffalo threw me, though. Not at all my idea of a liberal city.

                            Lot of snowflakes.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.
