LwB- rearranging half the house. (post flood, not finally all walls, ceiling, floors are done). mr les has the same opinion. We probably needed to redo things at some point but the kitchen, dining room, hall and finished basement all at once? prolly not the way we would have chosen to do it.
In the last few days- couch came, moved most of the china, antique-y stuff back where it is going, went to cottage in Maine to rake it out (more pinecones than I have ever seen in my life) for auntie les and now have to empty the rest of the pod. UGH. Almost there. It will be nice ot have a view of the back yard instead of a container.
The kitchen is just the start. I know I need to find additional storage and probably get some more shelving. I would get those cabinet stackers, but my cabinets are too small height wise for them to work. Next up is the linen closet.
Good Morning, Lodge!
Enjoying the silence as Mr. is up in St. Cloud for the weekend to help his parents clean out the garage. I plan on spending the day test driving the new mixer stand by making rhubarb custard bars and some breads.

Believe it or not the DYI FB page has some cool ideas on how to increase storage. Some of them are stupid but I used a few of them in a modified way.
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings for that FFL thing, first time there in about 3-4 years, and they have changed. ALL the tvs (I counted about 40) but the food is the same as it ever was. And the prices were up. Pretty happy I gave that place up unless it's something like this. What a waste. 12 wings and 2 hard ciders for $28? No thank you.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Afternoon, Lodge. Went to the parents' for Father's Day, hung out for a bit, then to the corner store for a root beer. 2nd best root beer I've ever had, behind 1919 Root Beer. Weather is still miserably humid, although ALL the storms are supposed to happen tonight, and the heat/humidity will break afterwards.
