        If you want expensive real estate, you have to leave the US. Our 900 sq ft 2 br in Geneva was 3800 francs (4400 usd) back in 2011. Made moving to LA afterward seem very reasonable.

                  Kid was looking at another place for 2400 that was pretty dated. He was real happy to get this one at 2200. He was happiest about gigabit fios

                      I thought CHF went the other direction? Either way, still quite expensive.

                              The franc has weakened against the dollar since then - I was living there when the franc was at an all-time high...and getting paid in dollars, of course.
