It does appear that our recruits in 2019 and further are somewhat better than the 2018 recruits.

The years the men's recruits are listed as committed for are not necessarily accurate.
The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.
Ralph, Do they provide any sort of "scoring key" to their scouting projections (e.g. 5.0 "Once in a lifetime player", 4.5-4.75 "First liner on championship quality team", etc.)?

I couldn't find it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. All I do is compare with other players.

    There is in LP
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

The box score has not yet been posted. I will post the summary when I return from bike riding in the early afternoon assuming it is up by then.

It's 4 on 4 hockey but only 50-minute games not counting the OT, so about 1 goal every 2 minutes.

Edit: 3 on 3 in OT.
Edit2: FWIW, each of the 4 games yesterday were decided by one goal: 12-11, 13-12, 8-7, 13-12 again.

Looking at the “B” scoring leaders, Dube had 1g 1a in game. 7g, 6a 13pts in 4 games.

On Wednesday, Straight North lost to Chicago Mission 13-12 in overtime. Zach Dubinsky scored a goal https://www.chicagoprohockeyleague.c...-week-4-game-2

    Dubinsky’s line is now 4-7-6-13-0.

Not too good considering the score.

The assist must have been a change in an earlier game.

If he missed the net a few times, he'd fit in perfectly.

Concerns me a little that even with this long list of recruits, and I am sure the statistics for height and weight are correct since they are all verified by RB, there is not a single recruit taller than I am and only 6 that weigh more than me. As expected though, every recruit is taller than Jenny and all outweigh her by a considerable margin.

I suspect that there are some whose heights are somewhat exaggerated, as that is often the case. n the other hand, some of the out-year recruits could still get taller.

In any case, Coach Smith does not appear to be enamored with height.

Cory Babichuk has been traded to Spruce Grove (AJHL) without having played for West Kelowna. SG is very close to home.

Hmmm. He doesn't show up this fall after we expected him to be on the roster and now he's been traded twice, ending up back in greater Edmonton. This has all the earmarks of a kid requesting a trade to his hometown, but why? I just hope everything is OK for him and his family and we see him in cherry and white next fall.

Edit: I should have read Ralph's post more closely. Apparently he was wondering the same things.
