This is a quarterfinal game. The box score needs a kick. https://chowdercup.proamhockey.com/s...e-summary/7717

Edit: I will eventually post something. Reid Leibold has an assist so far.

He’s still in the RPI Directory. In fact, I think it was in early April that you posted it as an addition. It seems strange that he confirmed he was coming after the season but just a few months later has seemingly disappeared. I suspect given his injuries this season (he missed more than 1/2 of his possible games) that he and the coaching staff agreed another year of junior would be beneficial. Hopefully he will then be suiting up in cherry and white.

Edit: The Warriors press release mentions his commitment to the Engineers.

Thanks. That is a good analysis. I do hope that he indeed comes. We are losing to two defensemen next year (Grant and Moore), and he is the only one committed although Dubinsky has played defense.

There is a Q&A with Christian Sarlo on Neutral Zone, only available to paying subscribers. https://www.neutralzone.net/mens/201...camp-rankings/

FWIW, he chose RPI over Merrimack.

Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

That will give me a few more games to follow. Dubinsky's team has played 3 of its 6 games. The next on 8/1. It looks like the league doesn't play defense. https://www.chicagoprohockeyleague.c...ts/top-players (Go to schedule.)

Nevertheless, it is nice to see that Dubinsky has some offensive capability.

The games are all played 4 on 4, except 3 on 3 OT which explains the scoring. https://www.chicagoprohockeyleague.com/about-cphl/rules

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2017-18 (Part III)

I have added a column indicating how many stars Neutral Zone has awarded each recruit. Since they include these on posts, for example when a player commits, I assume they regard this as public knowledge. I don't intend to post any of their write-ups, which are very interesting. It does seem that RPI recruits in a rather narrow range of stars -- no 5.00 recruits. (Todd Burgess at 4.25 is our highest in the previous two classes.) It does appear that our recruits in 2019 and further are somewhat better than the 2018 recruits.

The years the men's recruits are listed as committed for are not necessarily accurate.
The dates on which some of the women are listed as committing on may be considerably after the actual dates.

Let's hope we see in the USHL this fall that his overall scoring prowess is just emerging rather than "he's a great scorer in space." There are no Olympic rinks in the ECAC so he's not likely to get that kind of open ice very often.
