It's a baseball thread, Lisa's excited about her baseball team, it's relevant.

Would love to hop on the A's bandwagon as well, but my local bandwagon team is in a 3-way rock fight for the NL West pennant.

Also DAE Coors thin air humidor amirite.

That NL West race is wild. I'm hoping the Rockies pull it off.

And the rest of us reserve the right to mock her for gloating about beating up a team 60 games below .500

The lowest ERA in the NL belongs to Jacob deGrom. (1.78.)

The second lowest ERA in the NL belongs to Literally Everyone Starting Against Jacob deGrom. (Combined 2.39.)

MVP's certainly a stretch, but I'm in favor of getting this poor guy a Cy.

Christian Yelich became the 3rd player in the modern era to hit for the cycle twice in one season last night. He also did it Aug 29, ALSO against the Reds.

Given how bad Cincinnati is, that record should be described differently: Cincinnati became the first team in the modern era to allow a player to hit for the cycle twice in one season.

                              Unless I"m wrong.

The Oakland Raiders crush the Los Angeles Rams 21-3.

Wait, that was the A's and Angels????

Shoutout to Angels catcher Francisco Arcia, who gave up two home runs as a pitcher, then hit one of his own.
