Ahh, understood. But apparently it has no bearing on number of games allowed.

She should be the U-18 national team goalie this year. Lead team MN to 2nd place finish 2014 WSI in Bolzano was goalie of tournament. Already compared with Raty who happens to be her goalie trainer.
Not seeing this Bothun girl you talk about on the roster. Is she hurt? Must of been political I'm sure!

With the 2018-19 schedules being posted now for all of the WCHA, Hockey East, and ECAC, and Penn State and Lindenwood competing to be the last in the country to officially post a schedule, the Penn State schedule looks pretty complete as follows (with four games against Lindenwood to be added somewhere in there). December looks like the obvious place for the Lindenwood games, for a season total of 34 games:

Sep. 28-29 vs Colgate (at Colgate)
              --------------------------------------------------------------
Oct. 5-6 vs Merrimack (at Penn State)
Oct. 12-13 vs Union (at Union)
Oct. 19-20 vs Providence (at Penn State)
Oct. 26-27 vs Mercyhurst (at Mercyhurst)
              --------------------------------------------------------------
Nov. 3-4 vs Syracuse (at Penn State)
Nov. 16-17 vs RPI (at RPI)
Nov. 20-21 vs RIT (at Penn State)
Nov. 30-Dec.1 vs Robert Morris (at Robert Morris)
              --------------------------------------------------------------
Dec. 30-31 vs Boston University (at Boston University)
              --------------------------------------------------------------
Jan. 8 vs Cornell (at Penn State)
Jan. 25-26 vs Syracuse (at Syracuse)
Jan. 29 vs Princeton (at Princeton)
              --------------------------------------------------------------
Feb. 8-9 vs Robert Morris (at Penn State)
Feb. 15-16 vs Mercyhurst (at Penn State)
Feb. 22-23 vs RIT (at RIT)

There is a gap in January, either 1/11-12, or 1/18-19. It looks like other CHA teams are playing 3/1-2, so I'd expect the second series there.

Penn State has officially posted half a schedule, but it cuts off after December 1, so maybe tomorrow the other half will show up. The exhibition game is September 22 against Ryerson University (out of Toronto).

And former Penn State player Jordin Pardoski has left the coaching staff at Elmira to join Brown University as an assistant coach:

Kind of old news by now, but Penn State has officially announced the Jenna Brenneman transfer from Clarkson to Penn State:

                        http://www.gopsusports.com/sports/w-...082018aaa.html

It's a bit of a tough read on Brenneman, who played very little at Clarkson and I think only against Brown. However, she does have a solid background from her playing days in Minnesota, so she's certainly talented and will finally get to use it at Penn State, so it's a good move for her. Her two seasons of D-1 hockey have been back-to-back national championships, too, so she brings that to the locker room. I think it's a great move for Brenneman and a great move for Penn State.

BU has usually had a double header at Agganis every season since the women’s program started. They have done both the single ticket and seperate tickets, but all men’s ticket buyers get a women’s ticket for free. BU regularly has women’s games at Walter Brown at 3 and men’s games at Agganis at 7 on Saturdays (they have three this season plus the Agganis doubleheader.

No news out of Penn State lately, but the first game of the season is 18 days away (September 22, 1:00 PM, against Ryerson University).

I'll be anxious to see the newcomers:

Jessica Adolfson (Linkoping, Sweden) is a defenseman on the Swedish national team, after playing on the U-18 team, and also has IIHF experience. That should transition well to the NCAA, and this looks like a good grab for Jeff Kampersal.

Loli Fidler (Edina, MN) looks like pure gold any way you look at her stats. Back-to-back state champ, MVP of 2017 state tournament, all kinds of points in every season she's played. All-conference, all-state, all-tournament, Minnesota Ms. Hockey semifinalist, etc. She's going to be fun to watch.

Rene Gangarosa (Rochester, NY) is insane - multiple letterwinner in hockey, lacrosse, tennis, and a junior national champion in judo. I don't think she sleeps. Her stats as a defenseman are impressive, with a ton of points every year, and she's a three-time invitee to the USA Hockey Development Camp. She's going to be a good one.

Amy Dobson (Hamilton, Ontario) has a lot of PWHL experience, as well as other Canadian league play that I don't really know anything about. Multiple tournament appearances with gold and silver at league, provincial, and national tournaments, and played on Team Ontario in the national tournament and won a silver medal with them.

Anna Promersberger (Fargo, ND) won three state titles with Shattuck St. Mary's, is a three-time attendee at the USA Hockey National Camp, won a North Dakota state championship, and garnered other conference and state accolades. She looks like a good one to pair with the likes of sophomore Natalie Heising and/or junior Brooke Madsen.

Izzy Heminger (Dublin, OH) played four years with the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets, and her official Penn State bio doesn't mention it but she also played at NAHA. Her official bio is pretty sparse, so there's not much to go on as far as anticipation, so I'll be curious to see her game in NCAA D-1.

Jenna Brenneman (Eagan, MN) is the junior goalie transfer from Clarkson, but has very limited NCAA play (three games in two seasons), so it will be fun to see her now that she will finally get serious ice time. Her pre-college bio looks good: Minnesota High School Goalie of the Year, two-time all-state all-star, three-time conference all-star, and two-time attendee at the USA Hockey Development Camp. Her experience winning back-to-back NCAA championships will be a good thing for Penn State on and off the ice.
