2006, CCHA quarters against Omaha. I'm with the Puckheads drinking heavily in the parking lot of the Berry. When I walk into the arena, my steps get very heavy. I somehow make it to my seat, where I sit there, thinking if I don't move, nothing will happen. 5 minutes later, I feel something come up. I try to make it to the bathroom, but I end up puking on the stairs between sections 15-16. NMU Public Safety escorts me out of the building; our 3rd string goalie had a party bus. I was on that bus the rest of the night listening to the game. Ended up puking a couple more times.

Game over, we sweep Omaha, and everyone comes out with "we're going to the Joe" chants. After the parking lot celebration, I go back to my dorm, stomach still on the rocks. I was grateful for the grease I ate the following morning.

Colgate's the same way. Cornell, SLU, and RPI are dry.
They sold beer at the HFH when I was a student. I don't recall when they stopped, perhaps when the NY drinking age was raised from 18 to 21.

Bentley Arena didn't sell any alcohol for the inaugural games this season, but will be selling beer and wine in the Arena starting next season.

At the University of Wisconsin, the Kohl Center has limited options:

General Public - no alcohol sales
          Suites/Clubs - in-room service only
Donors of a certain level - access to a "buy here, drink here" lounge on the 2nd floor for beer (maybe wine?). I only went there once and that was 2 years ago. They had dozens of glasses of Spotted Cow pre-poured so they were flat and tasteless by the time you got to drink it.

Thank the heavens you can get beer and wine at the Sully, least UAA didn't get that backwards.
Just to be clear. My disinterest in this team became of the Uni's disinterest. Without the success of the hockey team, the other teams would not be where they are. Way to pay back the hockey team. **** UAA.

You can also get alcohol on the outside pavilion at PC for season ticket holder or pay $5 for access.

UMASS fans here. We made it to a Bemidji vs Air Force series this past October. Had a very nice time at the Sanford Center, and met some really nice people. We sat up top right near the bar area by chance. It was different being able to grab a beer or two there. Most Hockey East Arenas do not allow it. Agganis Arena in Boston allows one beer and they scan your drivers license to make sure its just one. Tsongas Arena in Lowell does serve beer BUT for a hefty price. At most of the other arena you must be a donor or belong to their team clubs, like at UMASS they have the "POND CLUB." But not to the regular ticketed fans.
A.I.C. in Atlantic Hockey which is next town over from us in Springfield, MA. does sell beer and whine also for a hefty price. But that arena (MassMutual Center) is not on campus and is in down town Springfield and home to the (AHL Springfield T-Birds, Florida Panthers) farm team.

No alcohol in any ECAC rink I have been to except when in the private supporters lounges. Sacred Heart serves alcohol at it's home games at Webster Bank Arena. Ironically, there will be no booze at the same Arena today for the East Regional.

The beer garden is new this past season and is on the opposite side from the club/box area. There's a little white picket fence around it with a bouncer checking IDs and not letting the alcohol out of the area. It is for everyone old enough.
Can't we all just get along?
Always remember... This is just a game we're talking about here. Let's not take it all too seriously.

Finally, a reason to go to the new arena!

I didn't know HAA had a 1 beer limit and they scan your license.

I didn't see any problem at Conte and even at basketball games I didn't see any problems.

At Alumni Stadium I didn't see many problems except long lines since only certain areas of the stadium served beer.

From what I can tell, it will be allowed henceforth.

At least price wise it is not Garden like where the Jacobs price it around $12 per beer.

Sports are cool, but alcohol is absolutely not cool, so I do not support this initiative. By the way, I want to say that students should play sports even more than other people because students study a lot and have a sedentary lifestyle. If you are a student and you do not have time to play sports, then you can always use the site https://cheetahpapers.com/research-paper/pay/ which can do your homework while you play sports.

Northeastern has a full-service bar operation in the Varsity Club lounge located at one end of Matthews Arena. Open before games and between periods but not post-game. ID check required prior to entry.

Presumably, those who use this "service" to write their papers will not become brain surgeons.
