Isn't it August 15th of their senior year that allows them to become a free agent? That's what Vesey held out for.
While I won't fault him if he goes, I think Chase will be back and will be determined to get QU back to the top.

That's not entirely accurate. Teams only lose seniors' rights if they don't sign by late in the summer.

True but NHL teams often don't want to take it down to the wire. So they will often sign their NCAA prospects after their junior year. I've seen it happen a number of times with my "other" team, Michigan.
