As for the feelings about arena, again, it was brought up in the link that they're between major renovations on HFH vs. a new building. I have a bad feeling about where that's going...
I doubt that they are going to build a new rink.

What are the other "purposes"? RPI already has new facilities for other sports.

          That's where I feared it'd go...

At least two of the teams we've yet to face to will remain that way... Omaha and Canisius have yet to release.

Hope not. Houston is great; it just needs to be kept up rather than having emergency work at ten year spurts.

Plus, Cheel should serve as a stark warning to anyone contemplating a new rink to be careful what you wish for. We have been in a bad time for rink design, though Pegula and 'Gate seem like they are starting to get better again.

                      Succinct assessment.

Build on uniqueness of HFH. It is a barn, a great barn. Developing is an ongoing project. Kepler's right, not once a decade.

Interesting tidbit. The Vice President & General Manager of the Sudbury Wolves (OHL), Rob Papineau, is the father of RPI '20 women's recruit Madisyn Papineau. See the article which I posted on the women's thread http://board.uscho.com/showthread.ph...=1#post6668445.
