Re: RPI 2018 Off-Season: The Hunt for Red October
What about this as a possibility... Coach Weber is sick of pro hockey and wants to get into college, right? However, maybe he's not familiar enough with the collegiate recruiting process to yet be effective at this level. Somehow, I don't think Coach Weber is going to be here long, as he wants to understand recruiting first-hand before taking the helm of a full program. And with Coach Graham's injury, perhaps Graham's taking a "sabbatical" while Coach Weber now has a unique opportunity to learn the ebbs and flows of recruiting. Also, there's no contract listed, so it could very well be temp.

Should the Caps win, how would DC celebrate?
I am a Rangers fan, but it is easy to root against Golden Knights.
Since I didn't listen to the game, I don't know about celebration. I am sure you will find out.
Bigger crowd than for the inauguration.

Originally posted by fr. joe View PostActually, I didn't see the game either. Although I hear there was an estimate of the crowd...
Much better than those mid-summer crowds at Griffith to see the Sens (not the Nats).
But not as big as the New Year's Eve crowds to see the postage stamp fall at Midnight.

Day 2 team 59 on the review as we check in on the ECAC and with the RPI Engineers after a down year in a loaded ECAC look for a bounce back year from a long standing powerhouse in college hockey this year and maybe depth will help them get there. #RPIHockey
— College Hockey Talk (@CollegeHockeyT1) June 8, 2018Last year RPI finished at the bottom of college hockey with a record of 4-17-2 not what you usually see from RPI this team has three NHL drafted players on it and a bright future if you ask me. 4 wins didn’t show everything this team has to offer in all reality and they will be
— College Hockey Talk (@CollegeHockeyT1) June 8, 2018Better with an NHL drafted forward a defensemen and a goalie you have a lot going for you as a team and a great coaching group to help this young team grow. RPI is only graduating 3 kids from last years team and they can come together as a group and work as one.
— College Hockey Talk (@CollegeHockeyT1) June 8, 2018RPI has a step on some of the competition giving the fact now sophomore goalie Linden Marshall is back for his second season and was solid as a rock last year for RPI this team does really have some good goaltending heading into this season and good goalies can win you games.
— College Hockey Talk (@CollegeHockeyT1) June 8, 2018I look for a 6 to 8 win jump for RPI from where they were last year the Young kids grow up and the experience kids get better this team is going to be ready to do battle and leave it all out of the line. They had two great games to start the season against Ohio St. If they
— College Hockey Talk (@CollegeHockeyT1) June 8, 2018Played with the same intensity from the first two games the whole season RPI would have won 10 games last year they had a tough schedule and it will only get tougher but they will work hard and look for a good season out of RPI. #ECACHockey
