When speculation started last week about Monty leaving, word was the current AC, David Caryle would be the choice. Young but highly though of according to what I've read.

All that glass façade has done is exorbitantly raise utility costs.

I think that it gives the building a more modern look. I can't comment about utility costs.

"Appert was on Gwozdecky’s staff from 1999-2006 before 11 seasons as RPI’s head coach. His teams were above .500 just three times in that span, but he is well respected in the coaching community. One coach I spoke with called RPI one of the tougher places to win at in Division I and considered Appert and outstanding coach. He currently is coaching the Under-18 team for the prestigious U.S. National Team Development Program."

Sent from from my friends on the Denver thread. They always liked me more than you ppl. That is all.

The person may have a point when you consider recruiting; there aren't exactly any mickey mouse majors at the 'tute. That being said, it can't be used a complete crutch, seeing how those even coming to D-I value their education over athletics otherwise they'd go to MJ, and this sort of situation can separate a good coach from a great coach.

Some people seem to have a vested interest in vindicating a person who hasn't been associated with the program in over a year.

Some people seem to have a vested interest in continuing to hate on a person who hasn't been associated with the program in over a year.

You can guess which one he is.
