And yes, I talk to coaches all the time. So my opinion is not just on my own observation and the many (granted eastern only) games I see in person and streaming, but on what coaches tell me they think.Russell Jaslow

Hobart might want to start declining hosting if they earn the right. Think that’s 3 straight years now they’ve lost at the Cooler. UMass Boston, Endicott and now Geneseo.
They clearly love playing in hostile atmospheres and thrive off it.Last edited by bakdraft21; 03-12-2018, 01:07 PM.

It was a shame that Hobart and Geneseo had to cancel one of each other out this early, though. They were set on a collision-course too soon, but that's not atypical stuff in the D-3 world.

I believe the college deserves better, much better, but don't hold your breath, nothing happens "soon" in that City.

The infrastructure (power, data, water, comm, sewer) is also a mess.
Lake Champlain on the remaining side.

I do think we need this built soon in order to break the bad karma in the first round of the NCAAs these last 4 years...this year was particularly upsetting because of drawing such a great team in Geneseo in the first round.....they deserved to win as our defense was not as tight as the final we played against Norwich...I really hope Genny goes all the way so we can prove the quality of eastern hockey, and Hobart crawls out of the dump in the hole to play in the NCAAs again next year.
Seriously, we don't mind the cold there, even back when it used to snow inside. What we hate about that place is that there are just a handful of decent seats, and no really good ones.
Yes, Hobart deserves a better arena than that midget-hockey venue. I agree whole-heartedly.Last edited by Fishman'81; 03-13-2018, 11:02 PM.

Face it, you can't have it both ways via any cogent argument.Last edited by Fishman'81; 03-13-2018, 10:48 PM.
