I'd love to see the final comparison of Oswego and Marian. I really thought the Lakers would get in, but I guess when you lose your last three games at home to unranked teams and score one goal, there really isn't an argument you can make.

I agree in theory but using the criteria the NCAA says it supposedly uses that should not be relevant, or only should be after other criteria is exhausted. I am pretty confused.

I noticed Marian is missing from the NCAA stat sheet from the last regional ranking.

Edit: Now I see that the stat sheets are from 2017 instead of 2018. Marian is there, it's just their record was so bad I figured it was another Marian team!

Hint: "East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet." At least in the first round.

We're busy consulting with Trinity and Utica to get our stories straight.

If Marian were in the East they'd pretty much be Buffalo State.

There were a lot of teams that should have been in over Marian. Oswego and Trinity would be the top two for sure. D3Hockey does a great job breaking down their version of Bracketology and there's no way Marian should have been in based on NCAA criteria.
