The Lowell Sun has an interesting article by Chaz Scoggins today about the possible future of the Spinners.

I thought that hack retired. Why'd they dredge him up out of the canal to carry water for taxpayer stadium funding?

It's paid as a freelance piece I would presume, plus I can imagine he still has a few connects within the Red Sox org. He was the official scorer for years at Fenway.

He still is one of the official scorers, and so is Bob Ellis.

Chicago has a lot more eastern kids, committed to BU, NU, Merrimack, RPI, etc. Coached by former Maine star Greg Moore. Muskegon look for small puck moving D Cam McDonald, uncommitted kid from Alaska who a lot of eastern schools are all over.
