Adrian's play by play guy seemed to think there were 3000 people there for the RS matchup between Adrian and SNC

                Yes.

That's the goal -- a western campus site. 2021 as well.

Given that the national championship game is on my birthday next year, I can think of no greater present from the NCAA than a Frozen Four at the CCC.

The biggest problem with that is St. Norbert doesn't own the CCC. Can the CCC be able to guarantee a ton of ice time devoted to the NCAA? Especially at the last minute since a decision won't be made till the final four teams are known?

In the past, when neutral sites were looked at in the West and facilities had plenty of time to plan out their ice time, the CCC had no desire to bid on it. So, I think the answer to the above question is no.

Superior would probobly be the only on campus rink in Wisconsin that could do the FF. I think Marian would have the capacity to hold it, but they are in the same situation as St. Norbert I believe.

Stevens Point and Gustavus could, but they have to make it. (Capacity won't be as big of a factor when an on-campus site is selected, unlike a neutral site where capacity is a key factor.)

The NCAA could be in a bind here with this strategy. Of course, they could revert to an Eastern campus site as a Plan B, but like joecct posted, what happens if the "traditional" powers with the capable rinks don't make it?

I could sware the capacity is a requirement ?

I would appreciate from a geographical standpoint but the Blue Line is nothing special.

This is incorrect. The Resch Center did not want to bid on it without a guarantee St. Norbert would be in, and understandably so with other events they can book in the building on a weekend. The Cornerstone typically has no issues with ice time in late March.

Then let's hope SNC gets in it next year, because their facility would be an excellent host site.
