SOS is determined by taking the average winning percentage of opponents and multiplying by 2/3. Then the average winning percentage of opponents' opponents is multiplied by 1/3. Those values are added. The calculation is flawed for a couple of reasons, but nonetheless, that is the definition of the SOS metric in division 3.2007-2008 ECAC East/NESCAC Interlock Pick 'em winner

Just got back from Geneseo. They steamrolled Fredonia from the get go. Geneseo had a hop in their step from the opening faceoff, that’s for sure.
Will be very interesting to see who is home and where the play-in games will be East vs. West). That is after the interesting decision of who gets the Pool C bids...Russell Jaslow
