There is a 0% chance of both Utica and Oswego getting Pool C bids. Zero. Percent. Chance.

Not even close. Utica SOS is 47th, Oswego is 19th. Salve #2, UNE #4. SOS is not changing that much and Rank only gets better for Salve if Nichols jumps into the top 10. 3 CCC TEAMS are going.

Over 30 years of watching D3 hockey and the results of the smoke filled room nothing is for sure and never put a 0% chance on any team in the rankings.....for your sake I hope you get your wish....but don't be surprised at whatever happens.

ummmm....those numbers are from KRACH....NCAA dose NOT use KACH....they use their own static sheets that are only availble for 72 hours after the rankings are released at www.ncaa.com They will not be available again until after the announcement program.

                            Re: Scores for Championship Weekend

SOS is determined by taking the average winning percentage of opponents and multiplying by 2/3. Then the average winning percentage of opponents' opponents is multiplied by 1/3. Those values are added. The calculation is flawed for a couple of reasons, but nonetheless, that is the definition of the SOS metric in division 3.

Just got back from Geneseo. They steamrolled Fredonia from the get go. Geneseo had a hop in their step from the opening faceoff, that’s for sure.

Will be very interesting to see who is home and where the play-in games will be East vs. West). That is after the interesting decision of who gets the Pool C bids...

Will be interesting to see who gets shipped out to Adrian! The scheduling is as intriguing as who gets selected. Geneseo being within 500 miles of Adrian always makes me anxious.
