      Steve "killer" Miller designed the defense and PK for OSU. When he coached at Providence in 2015 he had recruited most of DU's team, but now he doesn't have that advantage. Our offense needs to score early and often!

                  I know, I'm so depressed today. They lacked that jump they have shown the last few weeks. I could tell from the opening face-off that they were going to suck. Just like the mental lapses they had against Dartmouth and Merrimack. Sigh... It's going be sad to lose the big three. I love our Freshman class and the new recruits look strong, so, go Monty, do your thing!

                    Sounds like Terry and Borgstrom are expected to sign today or tomorrow. Blake Hillman is apparently leaving as well.


                    EDIT: as expected, Borgstrom, Terry, Gambrell all signed today. Le sigh.

                            Hobey Hat Trick--Henrik Borgstrom,#95, set to skate tonight as Florida goes to Ottawa

                            According to Cap Friendly:
                            Terry and Borgstrom 3 years $925,000 including $92,500 signing bonus NHL salary per game about $10,180, years 2 and 3 potential performance bonus of $850,000
                            Gambrell 2 years $925,000 including $92,500 signing bonus NHL salary per game about $10,180, year 2 $425,000 potential performance bonus
                            Hillman 2 years $925,000 including $92,500 signing bonus Will probably play for AHL Ice Hogs this year.

                            All contracts are 2 way. AHL salary is $70,000 or about $920 per game. Signing bonus plus per game $$ are paid this year. Playoff $$ based on a pool of money from the league and how far the team goes and team discretion on payout.

                                Ryan Dingle, DU 2004 - 2007 announced his retirement. He was playing in the UK for Coventry and had played for Fife.He also played in Italy as well as in the ECHL and AHL in his 11 year career. Dingle is from Steamboat Springs.
