I thank Lucia for his contribution, but it was time.

The six man unit they have lined up for next year is BRUTAL, and they still need two more this late in the game.

Some names being thrown out there: Darby Hendrickson, Mike Ramsey, Robb Stauber, Grant Potulny, and Mike Guentzel (current assistant).

I doubt that Motzko, Hastings, or Sandelin would leave their respective teams for this job. Obviously it would be a large salary increase but right now that's about it.

It's one thing to think it was time for a change. Another thing to have the 'good riddance' attitude that you imply with that statement about Lindgren being a bigger loss.

                Stauber is an interesting choice.

                1. Motzko
                2. Guentzel
                3. Stauber

There really isn’t anyone worth getting out there at this point.

If you saw the things Bonin posted on GPL, you wouldn't be at all surprised by what he is saying now that this is becoming official.

in all seriousness, sometimes it's not about a coach being bad, it's about a coach getting stale.

I see them. I lurk on GPL and the SiouxSports forums. I know he has a boner for Motzko. I guess I just assumed that when one of the only two coaches that has won your school a national title leaves the program, you wait more than 10 minutes to throw dirt on the grave.

Is there a clear cut favorite?

Honestly, is it really that long? There are only a small handful of coaches that would be good candidates.
