One scenario is posted below, with the cut line at 12.

This is quite simple to work out, actually....

First, since NMU won't have an RPI above Minnesota in any situation, the cut line is effectively 14th. You have to get Minnesota to 15 to get them out.
We have 6 conferences to work with:
          B10 - No help here.
          WCHA - Already covered.
NCHC - NoDak could move ahead of Minnesota, IF THEY WIN 2 games. A split likely won't do it. But, be careful here. UMD losing twice moves Minnesota ahead of THEM.
ECAC - If either Clarkson or Cornell does NOT win, that moves the cut line
HE - Like NoDak, a split for BC won't lift them above Minnesota, so the thing that changes things here is the winner of the BC/BU game also winning on Saturday.
AHA - Will get one bid, regardless.
There are no other potential at large bids which affect Minnesota, because their RPI is high enough to be safe from such.

Thus, to get Minnesota out requires:
If UMD loses twice, 3 of the following
If UMD does not lose twice, 2 of the following:
          NoDak wins the NCHC
BC or BU wins the HE
Harvard or Princeton wins the ECAC

There may be some very fringe scenarios which either add or subtract from that, but that's the basics.

            Short answer is BU/BC + Harvard/Princeton championships.

Unless I'm missing something, North Dakota can still make the tournament with two losses. It would be: NU or Providence wins HE, Cornell or Clarkson win ECAC, MTU wins WCHA, B1G doesn't affect, and Mercyhurst does not win AHA. Did I miss anything?

                  Correct for 2 reasons:
1- If Mercyhurst wins and NoDak loses twice, Mercyhurst will win the compare with NoDak on RPI, but not the compare with BC. Thus, Mercyhurst has to lose, so as to not grant BC an extra compare win compared with NoDak
2- If MTU beating NMU turns their comparison with BC to MTU, because of their record vs NMU. Thus, even though BC would have, by far, a better RPI, MTU wins the compare on ComOpp and a single game win against BC early in the season.

So, the needful things are, as you said:
No upsets in the ECAC or HE
                  MTU wins
                  Mercyhurst loses

Odds are very good, yes. BC or BU is not a stretch, but Princeton or Harvard would be a bit of a shocker.

As a Gopher fan that first game Friday (Princeton vs. Cornell) is gonna set the tone for my confidence of making it out of the weekend in a playoff spot.

In combination with St Cloud beating UND, Princeton has beaten Cornell, BU has beaten BC in OT, and Harvard is up 3-0 as I type this over Clarkson. The dominoes are starting to fall. It appears the cut line has moved up at least one spot because of the ECAC, so whoever is the 13 hole (Minnesota) would be the last team in at this point. BU winning tomorrow in Hockey East would move that spot up one more to 12 as the cut line.

                              12 teams are still locked.
                              SCSU
                              Notre Dame
                              Cornell
                              Denver
                              Ohio State
                              Northeastern
                              Providence
                              Mankato
                              Michigan
                              Penn State
                              AHA Champ
                              WCHA Champ

It looks like the ECAC will go to an autobid. That would be 13.

SCSU is locked as #1 overall. Notre Dame is locked as a 1 seed. Cornell, Denver and Ohio State are fighting for the other two 1 seeds.

The bubble has shrunk to Clarkson, UMD, UMTC, UND and BC. BU is win or go home.

Clarkson trying to help some of those bubble teams, have come back to tie Harvard.
