Wait, I think I misread it. I assumed they destroyed it out a spite specifically for that event so, like, no other event in the week would exist and steal thunder. But upon second reading it was just collateral damage. Though it's Philly so I suppose the first is always possible.

From listening to the scanner last night, if one can destroy something, one will destroy it. If it's associated with NE in ANY way, which includes Boston, so be it.

some of those cities don't have a useless 4th option. some have already completed their hat trick long ago.

of course some do have a loser team that will always be a loser team too

In other words, Boston inserts itself into a story that has nothing to do with it due to its deep inferiority and resentment.

I knew about the Syracuse Nationals (now the 76ers) and the Rochester Royals (now the Kings). I did not know about the St. Louis Hawks (born the Buffalo Bisons).

Of course the teams that play here are a decent reason that MPLS won't make it, but it actually is impossible because the Wild play in St. Paul.

And the Twins. The only team I've been a fan of I've ever seen win a championship, and I was 3 and 7 when they happened.
