    Hey, I'm just sick and tired of hearing the one take. There's a thousand different ways to go. Bottom line is she lost and nothing's going to change that. The important thing is did the Democrats learn anything from that election, Gore's, and Kerry's? And, I seriously doubt they have.

          Richardson has a personality, not a persona.

          But, to your point, we've become a (un)reality TV culture. That is a factor.

          Feed your hindsight machine this and see how it percolates: People had tired of the Bush/Clinton dynasty. (Mr. Obama circa 2008 was a clear sign of that.)

            Either way, one cannot escape the fact that the Republican Party and its members put their weight behind Donald Trump. He is their man. He is proving to be as dishonest, lazy, narcissistic, and generally unfit as so many feared prior to the election. Worse.

            Republicans who voted for Trump or who continue to carry his water now cannot blame Democrats for not stopping them in their effort to get him elected. Whether Dems can blame themselves for not doing enough is a different story.

                Supports? Um. No. Tolerates is a tad strong too. More like, it's what we have right now.

                It seems to this observer more like "standard mahogany row operations" running the show (stupid tone-deaf move after stupid tone-deaf move) in < pick your favorite major > corporation.


                My prediction: Mueller had better get my much-speculated "manila envelope" in his hands soon. If he doesn't, Trump's "witch hunt" claim wins. And so does Trump in 2020. (And I'm not saying that's a good thing. Trump'll keep signing off on bills that spend us to oblivion*.)


                *I see Trump spending more as a % of GDP or raw $ than Mr. "W" Bush or Mr. Obama could've dreamed. "Deal Maker" is cutting deals and leaving the bill for the rest of us.

                  Factors against Clinton

                  1. She's a Clinton.
                  2. She's a woman.
                  3. She's hated.
                  4. Benghazi
                  5. She didn't leave Bill after Monica.
                  6. She tore women up who were linked to Bill.

                    Republicans fall in line. Democrats have to fall in love. No one seems to want to acknowledge the obvious. Trump has made it crystal clear.
