    Sorry, to say but this will work in his favor. People don't care about immigrants. They just don't. As soon as the Dems shut down the government for immigrants they'll get destroyed for it. That's why they caved in the first place. DACA has the most support and that's illegals which will get the Dems no where. Chain and Lottery the GOP has convinced everyone are dirty words so the Dems even though right will get no where. And, everyone who is polled says that they want DACA but don't shutdown the government over it. It's a no win for Democrats.

      You realize every poll says you are wrong right? They care, they just want the issue done already. The Government should not need to be shut down over this.

      The Dems wont cave this time...they know the "Wall" deal that will get floated is a fraud so they will take the bad press. The problem Trump has is he let it be known he wants a shutdown if he doesnt get what he wants as well so they have a rival talking point. Never speak your mind...especially when you are an idiot. He just screwed over Congressional Republicans because now they cant make a deal in good faith since it is 75/25 he will blow it up over something he cannot win.

      This backs up something I read the other day. Trump's lawyers are obviously fighting to keep him from talking to Mueller...not because he is guilty but because they figure he wont be able to avoid perjury charges cause he has to boast and lie to feed his ego. He is easily baitable. Right now immigration is a huge trigger for him and the more it sticks around the worse he gets about it. He needs a win, and a big one. The tax deal saved his crumbling numbers but that wont last long as people realize it didnt help them much so they will focus on other things. Jobs are still be sent out of the country (sorry Carrier workers you all got fleeced) wages are stagnant and the Dow is volatile because banks know the **** is about to hit the fan at the Fed. Trump needs the wall and he needs it now.

              Doing the right thing means shutting down the government. Do that and you can kiss the majorities away in November. I'm not correct how? I'm just spitting out what the polls say and what the Republicans will do. Nothing more, nothing less.

                  You keep saying stuff like this and you keep being wrong. Remember how Bachman was going to get Franken's senate seat?

                  You can pretend all day long the wave wont hit but it will. The House is flipping which is why people are "retiring". Immigration is not the issue that will kill the Dems in the long run. It wont help them much either which is why both sides are trying not to shut the government down over it. Only Trump seems hell bent on it because he promised a Wall and didnt deliver. His own party isnt with him fully on immigration and outside of the 33% neither are the people.

                  He believes (and apparently so do you) that if he keeps making this the issue it will help people in the areas he promised to help ignore they arent being helped. Problem is it isnt working. All those Carrier workers are ticked off and being frontal about it. All those coal jobs he promised (and destroyed the EPA over) havent come into fruition. His bold new Health Care plan died on the vine because people saw it for what it was. He needs immigration reform and the wall before November or he is screwed.
