But that would be interesting -- the SUNYAC final everyone expected in a do over fashion.
Fine as long as they send Oswego to Geneseo!

I would almost like to see that matchup happen just to see these boards meltdown. LOL

          Geneseo
          Utica
          Trinity
          Buff. St./Norwich/Nichols 8/9/10

          East Seeding:
          1-Salve
          2- UNE or Hobart
          3- UNE or Hobart
          4- Geneseo
          5- Oswego
          6- Nichols
          7- Fitchburg
          8- Colby
Here's what the Eastern field would look like if the RS champions garnered the AQ's, and the AL's were selected -and the teams ranked- via the KRACH:

          1.Salve
          2.UNE
          3.Hobart
          4.Geneseo
          5.Trinity
          6.Oswego
          7.Norwich
          8 Fitchburg

A better and more equitable field, without a reasonable doubt, isn't it..?

For today, don't give a sh*t. It's all about discussing what's going to be announced tomorrow.

Your discussion can take place in the "we got screwed " thread.

Indeed. I can see east fans being upset by the west quarterfinals - and perhaps understandably so - but the way it's laid out makes some sense.

I'll give a sh*t if I want to, but Utica didn't get screwed, even in my better selection scenario...

Yet, the absurd practice of awarding of AQ's to tournament winners has had the effect of weakening the field, clearly... (I assume you're a big fan of the Electoral College, too. )

Not giving a sh*t for TODAY does not imply any other thoughts and feelings.

But go ahead and continue being a genuine dick.

That decision is up to the individual conferences. They have all independently made those choices.

In my opinion, Hobart deserved the NEHC outbid more than Norwich did. Norwich does not deserve a spot in the field.

I've been here for about a week with this broken record, but I couldn't say it with this much class! Tried to give you positive rep, but I wasn't allowed!

Seems like they ventured away from predicting what the committee would do and went with what they wanted to do. I think Oswego is in, and should be. I don't have a problem with all of the first round games in the east - it seems the top three western seeds deserve the bye over any of the eastern teams.

#1 & 2 in east and west should get the byes. 2 quarterfinal games in each region. With Hobart, Geneseo, and Oswego in my opinion all in this can happen. Eastern first round winners will need to go to Adrain.. gonna be interesting to see what they do.

                                How about this one, Einstein...

                                East:
                                1.Salve
                                2.UNE
                                3.Hobart
                                4.Geneseo
                                5.Endicott
                                6.Utica
                                7.Trinity
                                8.Oswego

                                West:
                                1.SNC
                                2.Adrian
                                3.Marian
                                4.Point

Without any AQ's, the bracket is as close to perfect as is possible.
