That news sucks. MPR (The Current) announced it today, and I had an immediate sad. Really liked the Cranberries.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

    Bleacher Report:

Washington State QB Tyler Hilinski found dead after apparent suicide.

Left a note, and had a rifle nearby. WTeff.

Sweet, sweet jump shot. I never figured out whether JoJo wasn't really an HOFer, but rather was a very good player who was fortunate to play with great players, or whether he would have actually had better stats if he played with lesser talent. But no matter. If he was the former, he deserves the adulation because he was a consummate team player and a really good human being.

CFL Hall of Famer and Calgary Stampeders legend Jerry Keeling. One of the greats from the era when men were men and played on both sides of the ball.

Former Stamps GM Rogers Lehew: “He never weighed more than 175-180 lb. When he first got here, he weighed 155 lb., and guys were saying, ‘You’re kidding — he’ll never be a quarterback.’ I said, ‘He’ll be your No. 1 quarterback.’ I knew I had the best second-string quarterback in the league playing defence. Great football player.”
