Originally posted by Kepler View PostI remember thinking "that guy's still on the air?" about 20 years ago. I fondly remember "Daaaaaaaaaaaaan Ingram" from NYC radio when I was 12. And 18. And 26. He was part of a really powerful lineup at WPLJ in the late 70s where every one of the DJs is now in a discussion for GOAT. Carol Miller and Pat St. John were two others. Ingram did top 40 shlock but he was funny and deeply ironic about it -- he seemed like the epitome of the guy who had to play Billy Joel at his job but listened to Thelonious Monk at home.

Egypt Today reported that Mohamed was affected by “the poor performance of the national team” during and after the match. At the end of the contest he was due to deliver analysis on air, but suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to a medical facility within Cairo’s state television center, then was taken to hospital soon after.Cornell University
