                              I remember thinking "that guy's still on the air?" about 20 years ago. I fondly remember "Daaaaaaaaaaaaan Ingram" from NYC radio when I was 12. And 18. And 26. He was part of a really powerful lineup at WPLJ in the late 70s where every one of the DJs is now in a discussion for GOAT. Carol Miller and Pat St. John were two others. Ingram did top 40 shlock but he was funny and deeply ironic about it -- he seemed like the epitome of the guy who had to play Billy Joel at his job but listened to Thelonious Monk at home.
