The good news is the Northeastern power plays are short.

"A fate that we deserved? Of course it is what we deserved. We played out there. If we screw up, who's fault is it? I don't blame the referees. I don't blame the other team. It is on us. We don't make any excuses and we don't let anyone else make excuses for us. Ever! Ever! And as long as I am the coach here that's how it's gonna be. And as long as I am the coach here the only thing we will accept is victory! Ties - we don't accept it. Losses - we don't accept it. Victory! Period!" - Red Gendron

Probably the worst ten minute stretch I've seen this season. Those kills were all atrocious.

Well, let's see how the team handles adversity. One the bright side you only lose two hockey east points and get a lesson.

Tipped puck for a goal, 4-1 NU. Doesn't look good, but let's see what they're made of.

Complete no show tonight. Hopefully they can salvage a split tomorrow night.

2 goal game going into 3rd. carried the play for long stretches in the 2nd but primeau stood tall. got a chance but can't give Huskies the man advantage, they are too good at moving the puck

Yup Maine adjusted and went passive penalty kill. Clear as day shut down puck movement low in the slot.

The twins couldn't be bothered to take a cheap penalty like that.

The worst part is Swayman isn't playing bad. This is the best team in hockey east, loaded with upperclassmen. A team we should look at as where Maine can aspire to get too. Northeasterns team has poise and great stick work and a sense of chemistry where they run together.

Ok, well he leads our team in negative plus minus. Likes to coast and when things aren't great couldn't be bothered. So maybe he'd be the leader of the tipsy doodles.

Yeah, Gaudette is the real deal. He makes that line . Faster than Maine and getting good goaltending. Sway has played ok. The 2nd goal is the only one you might say he didn't help himself.

How about Hammys penalty in the corner. Want to see that in front of the net where it is acceptable. No, I'll take out my aggression with a war move in the corner. Play in front of the net like that. You and Muehlbauer both. Not in the corners where it is obvious.
