Saw an article a while ago that Murdoch may also be putting his news properties up. I assume Sinclair will be the new mommy/warden for the conservative cretin captive community.
I love that Murdoch has actually morphed into the physical personification of a Bond villain.

I remember in high school thinking Tomorrow Never Dies sucked because "media mogul as a villain, really?"
That movie has aged remarkably well. GoldenEye is still the best Brosnan Bond movie, but that's a closer second these days than it used to be.
The rule seems to be that the actor's best Bond film is his first one. Maybe we should just have one-offs now.
Connery (Dr No is very good but obviously Goldfinger is his best).
Lazenby (OHMSS is my favorite Bond movie of all time, so it would be his best even if he hadn't made the worst decision in movie history).
Moore (Live and Let Die is his best though all the Moore Bonds are poorly written; not his fault)
Dalton (Living Daylights is OK, the other one is the worst Bond movie ever)
Brosnan (Goldeneye is his best)
Craig (the first 2/3rds of Casino Royale is excellent even with the gross bleeding eye sh-t)
So that's the last 5 Bonds all having their best movie as their first. A good sign for whatever black trans lesbian is the next Bond.
Different take here: Connery = Goldfinger (we agree), Lazenby = who cares, Moore = For Your Eyes Only (despite awful theme song) or The Spy Who Loved Me, Dalton = License to Kill, Brosnan = Goldeneye I guess although it wasn't great, Craig = Skyfall.

Very different. I thought Skyfall and License to Kill were laughably terrible and I like Lazenby a lot.
But I'm going to change one vote -- you are absolutely correct, For Your Eyes Only is Moore's best by a wide margin (despite the horrible theme song). The Spy Who Loved Me is good when it's on track but the goofiness is too jarring and insipid. This last is true of Moonraker, too. The non-goofy parts of Moonraker are actually quite good but of course are completely forgotten.
