Nice comeback tonight. Perry looked helpless out there early, but made some big saves late to give RPI a chance to pull one out.
Of course there was some not so good news, the PP looked abysmal. I saw at least 3 PP’s where we didn’t even come close to a SOG.
And 8 goals were scored and I never even got a single PtC point despite changing J Ohrvall for Burgess prior to the game.
And to add to it all, I took Liljegren TOMORROW night. Guaranteed no hat trick then.
All in all, a lively HFH even when they fell behind early. Let’s hope they can pull out the sweep tomorrow night.
You guys all worry too much. We knew we had this one in the bag all the time. Thinks always look rosy through a couple vodka gimlets. Watched some on the phone at dinner and just knew when we started to get back into the game in the second that we were going to find a way. Still not liking the face off results and of course cannot make a living being outshot so badly. But it is a win, it is a league win, and it is a win against QU which we do not get to see all that often. Need to set our sights higher and get a home sweep (another thing we have not seen all that much of lately).
