I listened to both games. If playoffs started today, RPI would play Yale. No way they could beat them 2 out of 3. If the best aspect of the rest of the season is they only have 1 game in 2 of the next 3 weekends. The opponents don't get any easier than the weekend just completed. And only 1 goal per game this weekend. Things are not looking more promising. If the tea leaves are to be believed and the likelihood of any kind of playoff run don't look good, the players have to recognize they are also playing for their college hockey careers. I hate to say it, but the best thing about next weekend may be the women's game.

I had forgotten that, but you are correct. Babichuk appears to be in Surrey's doghouse now, dressing infrequently and getting little ice time when he does dress.

Certainly. He is still listed as an RPI recruit here and elsewhere. OTOH his twitter account doesn't mention RPI but he doesn't use it much.

Both Clarkson and Notre Dame lost this weekend. Our undefeated streak record is safe for the year. (I wonder what it is like to have a winning streak. )

IIRC, in 2010-11 Brandon Pirri played one game for Chicago. That was it.
