Well, I did see todays game - still a lot of work to do. Hobart is a quality opponent, but getting outshot 14- 5 in the first period is not a good recipe for winning. The boys have to keep learning. Fortunately UMB and Babson did not have great weekends either, so the league lead is intact.

Hobart played well and NU was missing four forwards. I’d like to see the 3rd game with both teams healthy.

Yes! Had to keep reminding myself this last night. Cadets battled hard through the game and didn’t give up which was heartening to see. Had some nice penalty kills and big O had one of the best saves of his career. Hope we can get a highlight of that somewhere. Looking forward to the next Hobart game when we can show them what our full squad can do. Thank you NEC and Southern Maine for the slight cushion still!

Big weekend with what is historically the toughest road trip of the season. The Cadets have a chance to, with a sweep, make it a two-horse race with Hobart down the stretch.

UMB worries me since they were blown out in Kreitzberg early in the season. I doubt McShane will let the boys overlook them, but no doubt they're looking to make a statement. And while Babson put up a fight at Krwitzberg, they have been really inconsistent this season. They have some great wins and some bad losses. But I expect they'll show up to play as usual.

Edit: Also, what's the injury status?

Good chance a few of the boys are back this weekend. Not all I believe though.

Certainly a tough weekend. Hoping for 2 points, anything better is gravy for me.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this many pucks go out of play in a single game

Guess salvucci just needed to sit for a few games.

Man, the Babson play by play guy DOES NOT like Salvucci. Haha.
